HP Laptop & Computer Repair in Belgrade
HP is one of the brands we see most often in the shop — from affordable Pavilion and 250/255 models for home and office, through the business EliteBook and ProBook lines, to Omen and Victus gaming machines. Each line has its own typical faults that we recognise at a glance. We fix it all — laptops and desktop computers.
How to find your exact HP model
When you call, the quickest thing is to read us the Product number (P/N) — that is the code that tells HP exactly which model it is, because there are a hundred versions of the “Pavilion”. Where to find it:
- Turn the laptop over — the label on the bottom, the line that reads “Product:” or “P/N” (e.g. 2D1A5EA)
- If there is no label (it wore off), open the HP Support Assistant app in Windows — it shows the model and serial number
- Or press Win+R → type
cmd→wmic csproduct get name
You don’t need any of this — it is enough to tell us “HP Pavilion, silver, 15 inch” and describe the problem; we work out the rest when it arrives.
The most common HP laptop faults
Cracked plastic around the hinges (Pavilion, 250/255)
A classic with HP. The plastic frame around the hinge cracks over time, so the top part (the screen) starts to “wobble”. If it is not repaired in time, the hinge drags and breaks the chassis further when you open it, and the screen itself can crack too. We reinforce/replace hinges and brackets.
Slow performance — an old HDD
The cheaper HP models (250, 255, part of the Pavilion line) came with an ordinary hard drive (HDD). That is the biggest bottleneck today — the system takes a minute to boot, everything stutters. Fitting an SSD turns such a laptop into a new one, with everything left exactly as it was.
Overheating and shutdowns (Omen, Victus, some Pavilion)
Gaming and stronger models fill the heatsink with dust within a couple of years, so they overheat and shut down under load. Cleaning + fresh thermal paste solves it.
DC jack and charging
On some HP models the charging connector (DC jack) works loose or stops charging. It is repaired on its own — the whole motherboard is not needed.

Business HP laptops (EliteBook, ProBook)
The EliteBook and ProBook are built tougher than the Pavilion and last longer, but they have their own issues: worn keyboards (a lot of typing), batteries that hold an hour’s charge after 3-4 years, and the occasional docking-station problem.
