Asus Laptop & Computer Repair in Belgrade

Asus makes it all — from thin ZenBook ultrabooks and VivoBook models for home, to ROG and TUF gaming machines that are serious beasts. The gaming Asus laptops are frequent guests of ours because they need regular maintenance to stay cool and fast.

How to find your exact Asus model

An Asus model is a code such as X515EA, FX506 or UX430. Where it is:

  • The label on the bottom — the large model code + serial number (S/N)
  • The MyASUS app in Windows — it shows the model and warranty
  • Or Win+R → cmd → wmic csproduct get name

“Asus ROG, black, 15 inch” + a description of the problem is enough too.

The most common Asus laptop faults

Overheating and throttling (ROG, TUF)

The gaming ROG and TUF laptops pull an enormous amount of air through the heatsink, so within 6–12 months they fill it with dust and start overheating — games begin to “lag”, the fans roar, the laptop shuts down. Regular cleaning + fresh thermal paste is mandatory maintenance for these models, not a luxury. On the stronger ones we also do so-called liquid metal if the model tolerates it.

Hinges and chassis (VivoBook, ZenBook)

The thinner and cheaper models have more fragile hinges and plastic. They are repaired before they pull on the screen.

Battery and charging

After a couple of years the battery weakens; on the gaming models the charger is powerful (200W+), so the connector wears out. Both are sorted.

Slow performance — an upgrade

The VivoBook and older models gain speed from an SSD and extra RAM (many Asus have a slot for additional memory).

Gaming Asus — advice from the shop

If you have a ROG or TUF and game regularly — don’t wait for it to start shutting down. Cleaning once a year keeps temperatures low and extends the life of both the heatsink and the battery. When you come in for a cleaning, we also check the state of the thermal paste.

Frequently asked questions

My ROG/TUF overheats and shuts down in games — how is that fixed?
Gaming Asus (ROG, TUF) pull an enormous amount of air, so within 6–12 months they fill the heatsink with dust and start overheating — games lag, the fans roar, the laptop shuts down. Cleaning and fresh thermal paste fix it; on the stronger models we also do liquid metal if the model tolerates it.
How often should a gaming Asus be cleaned?
For a ROG or TUF in regular use we recommend cleaning once a year. That keeps temperatures low and extends the life of both the heatsink and the battery. When you come in for a cleaning, we also check the state of the thermal paste.
Can a VivoBook or an older Asus be upgraded?
It can — the VivoBook and older models gain speed from an SSD, and many Asus have a slot for additional RAM. During the inspection we see exactly what your model supports.
How do I hand in an Asus and what does it cost?
Diagnostics are free, we tell you the exact price after the inspection, and rough prices are in the price list. You bring the device to one of our three shops in Belgrade (Arena, Piramida, Centar) or send it by courier, and it comes back to you by courier once repaired.
